dgficexchange fic. Not sure how I feel about that fact. I think it's not working, but having got this far I'm going to take it through to the end and then edit like hell. altusargentum a new fic journal set up by Amortentia, who I've been beta reading for for a while, and her friend Wizzardt.I'm 21 in only 4 days. Freaky. My gift from RTD is Martha Jones in Torchwood, then on Thursday it's my Luau. It looks like it's going to be mostly the biggest drinkers I know who come to the SU, and other mates coming just for drinks and stuff before. Little do they know the Mai Tais are so strong they'll be coming to the SU with us. Bwah ha ha.
Went to pilates this morning. It canes.

Second, I just found my timetable on myDMU (thanks for the email, admin. Or not.) So anyways, I'm pretty pleased with it.
Monday: Day off: all year.
Tuesday: English in the Workplace, 11-12, weeks 1, 3, 5 and 19.
Wednesday: English in the Workplace, 10-13, week 23. Geoffrey Chaucer, 3-5, every other week all year.
Thursday: Twentieth Century American Literature, 9-11, all year. Colonialism and Postcolonialism, 1-3, all year.
Friday: Day off, all year.
Presumably my work placement is going to be on Monday, Wednesday or Friday. The only real thing to complain about there is that I will have to listen to Keith Scott talk non-stop for two hours at nine am. At least it's not last thing on a Friday now, and maybe the caffeine won't quite have reached his system yet. And now I'm into Doctor Who anyways, so I might actually get some of his jokes. (My favourite was when he was talking about Whitman, and somehow got on to how 'everybody knows that the Doctor can only regenerate 13 times'. Sam and I were like, 'do they?')
So basically, this leaves lots of space for me to get a part-time job, do the work required for class, go to the gym, go out clubbing, and partake in fandom stuff.
Or at least I think it does, we shall see.
